I was the main proponent and convener for a university-based gathering that revisited the roots of performing arts as ritual—an expressive bid to nurture both people and the planet. Through a panel discussion and a short interactive workshop with member organizations of the Performing Arts Cluster of Ateneo de Manila University, participants explored how movement, sound, and modern theatrical devices can help process and transform emotional and spiritual griefs, dissolve boundaries between self and comunity, and realign personal well-being with the well-being of the Earth.

The event also opened a critical conversation on how collegiate performing arts groups can better facilitate changes in modes of production, leadership structures, and workplace cultures—shifting creative practice toward more sustainable, caring, and ecologically grounded ways of working.
