Sabrina Basilio creates from the intersections of storytelling, ecology, and community development.

As playwright and dramaturg, she has written and devised works that interrogate gender, climate, and postcolonial narratives in the Philippines. As arts workshop designer and facilitator, Sabrina has engaged with youth agricultural workers, survivors of sexual violence, the incarcerated, and climate leaders from all parts of the globe.

While she mostly identifies as an amateur mycophile and wannabe dance instructor, Sabrina is also known as the resident dramaturg of Tanghalang Ateneo, the Community Relations Director at Muir Woods Academy, Inc., and a pioneer at Jungle Gym Play Laboratory.

In other words, Sabrina devotes most of her time to reading things aloud, weaving hard data into soft love stories, and endlessly partaking in workshops from all sides. Otherwise, you will find her hiking and singing to her house plants.
