Sabrina Basilio (Nueva Vizcaya and Manila, Philippines) is a performance-maker, researcher, and educator working at the intersections of ecology, gender, and decolonial studies. An award-winning dramaturg and playwright, she collaborates across universities, fringe collectives, national performing arts companies, choreographers, and festival directors.
Similarly, her community arts practice spans work with agricultural workers, survivors of gender-based violence, incarcerated communities, and climate leaders across Asia and Canada. She is also the co-founder of Jungle Gym Play Laboratory, a transdisciplinary arts collective that fosters play, regenerative action, and meaningful participation.
